Release Process

NP-View and NP-Live releases are divided into two groups:

  • Platform releases that introduce new feature and go through the full QA process once a quarter.
  • Patch releases that enables continuous update of the latest Platform release when short term fixes are needed.

Platform releases are released according to the following schedule:

  • January 15th for the Winter release (Q1)
  • April 15th for the Spring release (Q2)
  • July 15th for the Summer release (Q3)
  • October 15th for the Fall release (Q4)

Patch releases do not follow a fixed schedule since they are driven by support requests. Both Platform and Patch releases will be posted on the Portal website, but only Platform releases will be announced by email to our entire user community.
